A.C.DAdvance Cargo Declaration
Sudan, formally known as the Republic of Sudan, is a country in East Africa. It is bordered by Libya to the north-west, Egypt to the north, the Red Sea to the east-north-east, Eritrea to the east, Ethiopia to the east-south-east, South Sudan to the south, the Central African Republic to the south-west and Chad to the west.
Since 1 November 2025, the SPC (Sea Ports Corporation) has required an ACD (Advance Cargo Declaration) to be obtained at the ports of origin prior to the arrival of the cargo.
The ACD number must be stated on the bill of lading.
Cargo arriving without an ACD may be subject to fines and delays.
