Who is responsible for your data?

What data do we collect?
Only what you send us through the forms on this site (quote request, document submission, contact): name, company, email address, phone number, shipment details (country, goods, port of departure, shipper), your message and, for document submissions, the attached files (bill of lading, invoice, export documents).
We also keep your IP address temporarily to limit abuse (anti-spam), without linking it to your request.
Why and on what basis?
To answer your request, prepare a quote and obtain or validate the cargo tracking certificate for your shipment. The basis is pre-contractual steps or performance of a contract, and our legal obligations (accounting).
We do not send newsletters without your consent, and we do no profiling or automated decision-making.
Who receives your data?
Our team, our technical providers (website hosting, email) and, when needed to issue the certificate, the issuing bodies or agents of the country concerned. We never sell your data to third parties.
How long do we keep it?
As long as needed to handle your file, then for the period required by law (notably accounting). Requests with no follow-up are deleted within a reasonable time.
Security
Encrypted connection (HTTPS), password-restricted team access, regular backups and updates.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction or erasure of your data, restriction of or objection to its processing, and portability, by writing to info@ibescbusiness.com. We reply within one month.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
Cookies
This site uses no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. It only uses strictly necessary cookies, for example for our team's login session, which does not concern visitors. No consent is therefore required.
